Health and safety is a core value of Bouygues Construction Australia, and it is our paramount objective to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all persons involved in our operations.
Our industry leading health and safety standards are underpinned by our Safety Cultural Program which aims to foster positive safety behaviours, worker engagement, risk awareness, transparency, and accountability.
To underscore and strengthen these commitments, contractors working for BYCA must register and maintain their compliance in an online Workforce Management System.
The service is managed on our behalf by Avetta.
HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?
Contractors follow a step-by-step online process, providing information and documents to register their workers in the system determined by the worker’s role.
The process is simple and is all completed in the Workforce Management System. Each step is detailed on the How to Register page, and we’ve outlined the process below for you.
You’ll first create a business profile, from which you’ll create profiles for your employees who work for select BYCA sites.
You’ll choose the role/s they perform for BYCA, upload their qualifications and competencies (licences, tickets), and book online inductions which they complete before attending site.
This information is verified by safety specialists.
Compliant and inducted workers are issued with access ID cards linked to their online profile – their passport to access select BYCA project sites.
